Named after North Uist's highest hill, Eabhal is bred from our beloved Mairearad pedigree. Much to our delight, our Mairearads have been boosting our female numbers over the last few years except for Eabhal, who was born in 2022. Through his dam, he boasts Gilleaspuig of Tiretigan as his grandsire, a stock bull who lived to the grand age of 17 and saw many of his descendants have great success in Oban, including Eabhal's maternal half-sister who fetched joint top heifer calf price at the Spring Sale last year.
