Royal Highland Show 2024
The Overall Champion of the day was the Female Champion, Claggorm 62nd of Glengarnock. This daughter of Iain Ruadh of Glenkinglass and out of Claggorm 45th of Glengarnock was bred by A and H Kirkpatrick, bought by Highland Cattle Services in February at the Highland Cattle Show and Sale, and shown by Angus MacGillivray.
Royal Highland Show 2023
The overall champion of the day was the female champion, Neoinean Ruadh 6th of Leys. This daughter of Sir Lawrence 2nd of Springfield (Leadburn), and out of Neoinean Ruadh 4th of Leys, was expertly shown by Willie MacLean and bred by Leys Castle Farm.
Royal Highland Show 2022
The star of the show was the 3-year-old Gusgurlach of Balmoral, who also reigned supreme at last year’s Royal Highland Showcase event returned and was tapped out by Donald MacNaughton as his overall champion.

It certainly felt like the show scene was starting up again watching exhibitors prepare their animals to be shown. Highland Cattle breeders turned out to show their stock and had the largest number of entries on the day.

The Overall Champion of the day was the Female Champion - Skye Of Little Rannoch from the home of Messrs MacNaughton & Lawrie of the Kelty Fold.

Judge Willie Maclean took centre stage at the Royal Highland Show on 22 June, judging the Highland classes in what can only be described as almost perfect weather for showing.
